Dear Warner Parents,
To improve our school we would like parent input on next years Local Control Accountability Plan(LCAP). Please fill out the following survey: https://forms.gle/2GKm4MYAr9yDCeWs7
Also a reminder that lunches will be sent home on the buses today for online students.

Thank you Dr.Rodriguez and Bobby Sue Althaus for sharing with our students the classes and opportunities with Kumeyaay College. If anyone is interested please come see Mrs.Sutton to update your Ed plan and what classes you could receive High School and College credit for.

Continuing our AAPI stories, First Grade read, “Bilal Cooks Daal” and learned about this essential Indian dish. Then, surprise! Ms. Rudloff made the class homemade daal to try. We practiced using adjectives to help us describe the taste! Nutty, flavorful, and unique!

The best thing about Warner? The COMMUNITY. Coach Rico and Student Tyler used their free time to help Miss Grigorian with an unknown parasitic drain in her car. The culprit: her AC relay.
Thank you Coach Rico & Tyler for fixing her car! There's nothing like our Warner family.

TK2Rocks filled the warm fuzzy jar for a second time and decided they wanted pizza for their reward! They earn warm fuzzies for helping, doing something nice for someone, encouraging others, ect. This class is amazing!

As we close out this year, juniors are working on group projects, creating movie trailers for various stories we read throughout the year. Analyzing plot, theme, and literary elements, but with a creative twist!

Dear Warner Parents, CalFire and The San Diego County Public Health Department has approached Warner Unified with an offer to vaccinate students ages 12 to 18 with the Pfizer 2 shot vaccine. The survey is to see what interest there is in the Warner Community for this age group. I understand this is a political topic and I want to emphasize that this survey is only to gauge interest in getting the vaccine. The school believes this is a family decision and only wants to make it convenient for those who do what the vaccine. You can access our survey on website, Warnerusd.net. If you have questions please call the district office at 760-782-3517. https://forms.gle/DSizJLUzdEWiHTcdA

Earlier this week, 8th grade practiced their angle relationships by playing Dance, Dance, Transversal! They did a great job

Our 6th grade class learned first hand about the life cycle of chickens as we incubated our own eggs and watched them hatch! The chicks are adorable!

TK2Rocks! became pollinators today! We buzzed around the room touching all the flowers with our Cheeto covered bee legs! This was an activity celebrating spring in our Unit 8 ELA.

Romero Britto Pop Art Inspired drawings by 5th and 6th grade art classes. The originals are currently on display in the district office.

Each week high school art students create an artwork from a list of 73 choices of drawing assignments formulated to improve their rendering and observational skills. These are just a few.

Warner's weekly reminder that lunches for online students will be dropped off today by the bus after 3 pm.

4th graders created museum exhibits of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake for their unit 8 benchmark projects in ELA!

Can't wait!

First Grade has been reading picture books that celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander stories for AAPI Heritage Month. Today we learned that we can find common ground through shared passions. And, of course, we had to draw cool dragons just like the author, Minh Le.

Good evening warner Wildcats. The native pride club will be having a donut sale tomorrow Thursday, May 13 during lunchtime. Donuts will be two dollars each and we hope to see you there

First Grade stopping to look at and smell the roses on our walk up to art class.
A special thank you to our groundskeepers for making this possible!

3rd Grade is at it again! We saved Fred the Worm in our final “Save Fred” series. Today we made a transportation device to lower him from the ground.
