Good morning Warner families and staff: Due to some snowfall in many of our neighborhoods, we are going to start school 1.5 hours after our regular scheduled time to allow plows to finish clearing the roads. School will start today at 9:30 am. All bus stops will be 1.5 hours later than the regular time. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks, Warner USD

Good evening Warner families and staff.
We have some potential snow in the forecast for tonight. After last week's power outages, we are really hoping to have school tomorrow. We will wait until the morning to determine if buses can drive safely. Please expect an all call by 5:30 am if we have to cancel school or have a late start due to snow. If you don't hear from us, we will plan to see you all at school tomorrow!
Thanks,
Warner USD

Last Thursday our Lady Wildcats have secured yet another victory under their belts . That's officially 11 wins and only 2 losses with a final score against High Tech of 35-26. You all should be very proud of yourselves!! Keep up the hard work!

Warner Families and Staff-
I'm disappointed to have to make this announcement but we will need to cancel school for tomorrow, Friday 1/24. We had hoped we could plan for a late start, but SDG&E is unable to commit to a timeframe for re-energization tomorrow on our campus.
After the anticipated rain (and possible snow) this weekend, the fire danger should be much lower moving forward and we hope this will be the last of the outages for some time.
To make up for some of the lost academic time, we are hoping to hold a fun for all ages, K-12 camp during the February break. More info to come. We can't wait to get back to normal next week.
Have a nice weekend and stay safe.

Good evening Warners families and staff:
The campus remains without power as we move into the wind event tonight and tomorrow. We understand winds will be severe again through tomorrow evening.
The Community Resource Center will remain open from 8 am through 10 pm daily until the outages are over. Please head over if you need bottled water, snacks, a charging station, or a warm place to hang out.
As of now, SDG&E believes the winds will subside around 10 am on Friday.
We will be in touch tomorrow afternoon about the plan for Friday.
Have a good evening,
Warner USD

Warner Families and staff;
From our 4 pm meeting with SDG&E it appears that our campus will remain without power as they inspect lines throughout the county for damage. Since our campus will be without electricity, we are required to cancel school tomorrow.
The good news is we have rain coming this weekend and hopefully this helps with the red flag warnings and fire danger moving forward.
We know these outages and school closures are a hardship. We are eager to return to normal as soon as conditions allow.
The Warner Community Center will be open until 10 pm tonight if you need to recharge or grab snacks and water. If you have medical or transportation needs, please call 211 to request assistance.
They are expecting winds again Thursday and more outages. We will wait to see if those winds and outages are going to affect us. We will be in contact tomorrow afternoon about Thursday.
Stay safe,
Warner USD

Warner Families and Staff:
We just attended a meeting with SDG&E regarding the upcoming high wind warning starting this evening.
We understand that there will be an outage throughout our district including starting tonight. As such, we will be cancelling school for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 21st. We will notify you tomorrow after the 4 pm SDG&E meeting about our plans for Wednesday. Our goal is to get back to school as soon as it is safe to do so which means we can drive buses and we have electricity on campus.
If you need to recharge phones or find a warm space, SDG&E will be hosting a community center at the Warner Springs Community Center across the street from the school. If you have medical or transportation needs you may call 211 to request help.
Please stay safe,
Warner USD

Congratulations on a well deserved victory for our Varsity boys basketball team against OVCA with the final score 32-31. It was the most intense and heart pounding game so far this season!

Our JV/ Freshman boys basketball team won Thursday night against OVCA with a final score of 41-19. Awesome job Wildcats!

All students from the 3:00 pm Santa Ysabel and Lake Henshaw route are in vans and on their way home.

Attention Families!
We will not be sending the bus to Santa Ysabel or Lake Henshaw stops right now because of winds. Instead, the bus will head out to Ranchita to drop off students right now. The Ranchita kids will be dropped off early. We will be dropping students in vans at Los Coyotes and Los Tules. When the vans return, we will start driving all Santa Ysabel students to their stops in vans.
Thanks,
Warner USD

Our Lady Wildcats won their game against Calexico last night with a final score of 49-4! Awesome job, keep it up ladies we're so proud of all of you!

Good afternoon families. We are going to cancel our afterschool program for today. SDG&E anticipates winds will start picking up around 4:00 pm. We will be sending all students home at 3:00 pm.
For the Los Coyotes and Los Tules students, we will be sending kids home on vans. This may require more than one trip for our vans so please be patient.
Thanks for your attention.

Good evening Warner families-
We are looking forward to seeing the kids at school tomorrow, Monday January 13th.
We are aware that another wind event may be effecting our community starting at 4 pm on Monday through Wednesday. The goal is to have school as long as it is safe to do so. We will be attending SDG&E meetings tomorrow and monitoring wind predictions.
We will be in touch If anything changes for the afterschool program or school on Tuesday.
Take Care,
Warner USD

Good evening Warner Families and Staff,
We are going to cancel school for tomorrow, Friday, January 10th. A large portion of our district has just been issued 1-4 hour notices as well as 12-hour notices for outages. Our understanding from our 4 pm meeting with SDG&E is that this means shutoffs are imminent. We hope you and your families are staying safe and hope to see everyone for school next week.
Stay Safe,
Warner USD

Good evening Warner Families and Staff,
We are going to cancel school for tomorrow, Thursday, January 9th. A large portion of our families remain without power. SDG&E is predicting more closures tomorrow evening through Friday as winds pick up again. We are opting for the safest solution. We hope you and your families are staying safe and will communicate tomorrow after the 4 pm meeting with SDG&E about school on Friday.
Stay Safe,
Warner USD

Good evening Warner Families and Staff,
SDG&E is projecting high winds and possible power outages in our district. Because of the high winds and safety concerns, we will be unable to run buses so we are cancelling school for tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8th.
We will monitor winds and outages as we move through this week. Please expect another communication after 4 pm tomorrow about school on Thursday.
Stay safe!
