Dear Warner Parents and Staff,
We are hoping on having a late start tomorrow morning, Tuesday, Feb. because of the snow that is expected tonight. Bus routes will run 2 hours later than normal to give the ice time to melt and the roads to be plowed. If things change and we get more snow than expected we will put out an announcement at 6 am. Drop-off time at the school is 9:45 am. Have a good night.

Dear Warner Parents and Staff.
Weather and icy roads causing school closures for Monday, Feb 27th. There will be no school on Monday. We will reevaluate for Tuesday and let you know ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dear Warner Parents,
This is a reminder that there is no school this coming week Monday the 20th to Friday the 24th in honor of President's week.
Andrea Graham our cafeteria manager is one of our employees of the month. What can we say other than she is amazing? Always has a smile on her face. She serves the best possible food and is more than willing to make accommodations for special requests.

Dear Warner Parents and Staff,
Due to the expected snow and icy roads above 4000 ft elevation, we will be starting school with a late start to give time for the roads to be plowed or ice to melt. That means your bus pickup time will be 2 hours later than normal. The 3 pm run and After School run will still be at the same time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

TK2ROCKS worked on our standard of traditions by celebrating Valentines Day by handing out gifts! We also tried to stack all of our conversation hearts. It was so hard!

First and second grade continuing to learn about shadows and how they move depending on the position of the sun in the sky. Today in science, we traced our shadows than came back hours later to observe how they changed.

This week, TK2Rocks was working on before and after with number lines, so we took it outside! When we were done, we got creative! We also are working on making words and sounding them out on our own! Practicing addition facts!

Our beautiful rainbow colored salad bar is back up and running! We now have an authorization to use bottled water for cooking and cleaning in the cafeteria and our new Cafeteria Manager Andrea is off and cooking! We are in process of buying a large tank and pump to hook up for full-time fresh water in the cafeteria. There is a high likelihood that County Supervisor Jim Desmond's office will cover the costs for us through a neighborhood improvement grant!

Please join us for our first in a series of Informational Classes!

First and second grade making observations of how the shadow of a stationary object moves, even though the object itself is not moving! This week in science, we learned how the sun’s place in the changing sky makes shadows move.
