Feeling festive over here in Public Speaking! Students got to research anything they wanted for our most recent speech. We got a couple holiday origins, and other informal speeches such as how to gain confidence, and how to sleep better.

This Friday is Homecoming! Bring 5 bucks to get in the gate! Also bring some money to support the Spanish Class, they are serving Super Nachos and corn in a cup! The floats will run right before the game at 7. So come early to get a seat! Crowning 👑 will start at halftime.
Girls won 🏆! super stoked. I also wanted to do a shout out to some seriously cool middle schoolers! They make the sports possible!

Hello Everyone,
My name is Shanell Sands; I am the School counselor here at Warner. I am very exciting to be here and to have the opportunity to do what I love. I am a passionate and creative person. As a counselor my role is to be a student advocate while also promoting positivity and getting students on the right track for college and career. I am also here to provide guidance and social/emotional support if needed. I let the student know that my door is always open, if they need some support or have any questions.
I received my BA in Education with a minor in Child development, because I wanted to teach. While doing some student teaching I discovered I wanted to help in smaller groups while still working with student so I went on to get my Masters in School Counseling with a PPS credential.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 3 boys. Moreover, once or twice a month I try and get some me time by scrapbooking or writing, anything I can do to use my creative.
