5th Grade wrote a book and sent it off to the publisher today! We are published authors!

Under the Sea Porthole Window. Third Grade.
Students drew a porthole window, added wood texture ship wall and sea life in pencil, outlined with Sharpie, colored in porthole ring and sea life with crayon, then painted water and wood with watercolor paint. We also learned about coral reefs and symbiotic relationships.

Our second speech in Public Speaking: TED Talks! Lester gave us an incredibly informative presentation on the history of bird singing and how it has impacted his life.

Today 4th grade discovered that mountains won't last forever by exploring how solid rock breaks apart into smaller pieces through a process called weathering.



3rd grade is back at it again! Today we helped Fred the worm go swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. He cannot swim, so they engineered a submarine to keep him dry.



School Counselor Mrs.Sutton visited 3rd grade with Ms. Feezell's class today. We talked about Kindness and how we can show kindness at school, at home and in our community. We finished with a fun game of "Kindness Bingo".

Special treat from Mrs.Sutton and Mr.MacLeod Krispy Kreme donuts today. We are proud of our HS students finishing the year strong.

Our students are gaining work experience and also volunteer hours with Generation's JADE Garden in Ramona.They are looking forward to helping out in any way they can!This amazing new place employs and trains disabled adults/teens and also has fun activities for others to enjoy.

6th grade created rubber band helicopters for our stem lesson this week. We learned how energy stored in the rubber band will release to make the helicopter fly.


6th grade celebrates Earth Day everyday with our garden! Here we are building bed covers to keep pests out of our kale and Brussel sprouts!


Happy Earth Day! 1st Grade continued their Bodies of Water Unit with a watershed experiment. We also read “We Are Water Protectors” this week and discussed how we can be stewards of the planet - especially our waterways.
