Cant wait to see your faces on Zoom!

Friday's Food distribution had some extra help. We had some volunteers from San Diego County Office of Education bring up extra food and help out. We worked with our neighboring school District of Spencer Valley to find some extra food. We had a donation from the San Diego Food bank thanks to the Patrice from the Warner Resource Center. I also want to shout out to my wonderful team of Rhonda, Shannon, Julie, Carla, and Blanca for making this happen. This all goes to helping families out, thank you eveyone.

We miss you Wildcats! We are here for you and we can't wait to see you.

This is a message from SDG&E. Please share out.
We want to remind you of SDG&E’s direct assistance programs that can help people experiencing financial hardships due to COVID-19. Many may qualify for SDG&E assistance programs and bill discount programs. Those programs are available at https://www.sdge.com/residential/pay-bill/get-payment-bill-assistance/assistance-programs and include the following:
California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE): Provides a 30% or more discount on monthly bills for customers with qualifying current household income or customers who are participating in certain public assistance programs.
Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA): If a customer doesn’t qualify for CARE, they may qualify for FERA, which provides income-qualified households of three or more with a reduced electric rate (12%) on their monthly bill.
Medical Baseline Allowance: Customers who have a qualifying medical need or necessarily use a medical device (i.e. for a compromised immune system, life-threatening illness, or any condition where additional heating and air conditioning or a qualifying device is medically necessary to sustain a person’s life) are eligible for a significant discount on their energy bill. Household income is not a factor for qualifying, but a doctor’s certification on the application is required.

Congratulations to Jayton Chapton for getting an honorable mention in CaliforniaStreaming.org Digital Photography Contest for his photo Best Defense. Thanks to Alvin Abraham for coaching the photography after school program.

We sure love bragging about the class of 2020! Lorrie Gregory participated in many sports, Class Council, and was also in FFA serving as an officer. Lorrie is kind, intelligent and once she sets her eyes on something there is no stopping her. Lorrie, we are so proud of you for taking that "what if" chance at applying for college....because look at you now! Cal State San Marcos just gained a one of kind! Way to go Lorrie!

Senior Golf tournament will be RESCHEDULED to a later date.

Senior car show that was scheduled this week is cancelled. If you signed up but did not get a refund, please contact Mrs. Dimitrov at hannah.dimitrov@warnerusd.net.

Another amazing Senior Wildcat to talk about! Chelsea Mercado is not only our ASB President.....she also played many sports and served as an FFA officer. Her positive attitude and can do nature has truly opened many doors for her future. Chelsea has also been accepted to Fresno State and Cal State San Bernardino. We are so proud of you Chelsea. You will succeed wherever you go!

Senior brag moment! Please Congratulate Airman Pavlovich! John passed his MEPS last week with flying colors. He was one of the only 7 to be sworn in when 40 potential recruits went in that morning. His top job request was Tactical Aircraft Maintenance ....which of course he got! Johns ship date is July 28th and we could not be any prouder. Way to go John!

Hi Wildcats!

Good Afternoon Warner Parents,
This is Dave MacLeod with a important message about Warner Unified. As the number of infected with Covid-19 increases in the county we will keep school closed next week and into spring break the following week. We will assess the situation then, so for now students will not return until Monday, April 13th.
Parents please have students start Packet 2. They should have already finished packet 1. If you are looking for something else for your son or daughter to do and you have internet, have them work on iReady 30 minutes a day. To login in google iReady login, their user name is their first initial and last initial and the last 5 numbers of their lunch number, password is warner, and then select California. If you have issues contact your teacher.
We will also drop-off lunches at 11:30 am on the following Fridays including the Friday of Spring Break. If you still need to sign up for lunches, please call the district office ASAP.
FFA has cancelled the Sees Candy Fund Raiser. The seniors have also cancelled the Car Show and the Golf tournament will be postponed to a later date.
Please stay safe and follow the guidelines of the CDC.
