I got to go into the lower elementary classes this morning and teach the importance of washing hands. They get it put a glow substance on their hands that they can only see with UV light. We discuss the importance of hand washing and how to do it properly. The students then all wash their hands and come back and we check with the UV light to see how clean they got their hands. Tomorrow I will down upper elementary .

Continuing with Career Exploration Month, High school had guest speaker Alain Joachin from ABC Trade School located in Poway. This is a perfect post secondary step for our Construction and Ag Mechanic CTE Pathways. The students learned of the different trades that are offered , application process, and also more information on what an Apprenticeship is. What an amazing opportunity to attend school, while being paid, with benefits and no student loans. We hope our students see the amazing value and opportunities this offers!
